Cold Injury Committee Report

For those who are having problems with the delayed effects of cold injury such as:
  • Sensitivity to cold
  • Raynaud's phenomenon — painful constriction of vessels in hands and feet
  • Sweating
  • Chronic pain
  • Recurrent fungal infections
  • Ulceration of scar tissue
  • Nail growth disturbance
  • Skin cancers in effected areas
  • Arthritis or joint stiffness, limitation, swelling (edema — fluid accumulation)
  • Skin thickening
  • Sleep disturbance
  • Numbness, tingling, burning
  • Did you move to a warm climate to avoid the cold?
  • Do your ears have chronic fungus?
This list may not be all-inclusive. All individual cases are different. If you have any questions concerning your case, you may contact me or other members of the Committee to secure material you will need to pursue your claim.
