Adobe Acrobat Reader
For those of us that need assistance in downloading and using Acrobat Reader to view pages on the Internet that will not open by programs already in use by the user, just follow the simple steps below and you will be able to widen your ability to read documents formatted with PDF extensions.
There are several reasons for the use of producing files with the use of .pdf extensions.
Two reasons this web page utilizes .pdf files are:
Security: Information utilizing pdf file extensions are not subject to change by a viewer.
Size: Due to the length of some articles on the Internet, (such as government research documents) they are produced in pdf files so as to not overextend the web page and to allow the viewer to either read or print the document for reading at the viewers desecration.

While connected to the Internet and online, type in the location the following URL. http://www.adobe.com
Scroll to the bottom of the adobe.com page and click on the icon
This will link to another page in which you again scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the text, GET ACROBAT READER FREE
In the window that displays Steps 1--2-3, enter your choice.
Windows if your Operating system is windows or Mac if using Mac
Click on the Button
In the Download window choose Save to Disk Or Save
The program will automatically download and install on your computer.
The download is somewhat extensive so be patient.
After downloading is complete, you can click
on and pdf link and the acrobat reader will automatically open a new
window with the document you desire to view.
